Silverwood wines were available for tasting at Armadale Cellars as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. At this event we previewed the 2006 Silverwood Estate Pinot Noir and received an excellent response. We are expecting to release this wine in the next couple of months as our stocks of 2005 pinot noir are very low.

Silverwood Marque d'Argent Limited Release Pinot Noir 2005 was recently reviewed by Huon Hooke in Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine February/March issue in the 100 Top New Releases. Unfortunately the Marque sold out in about a month so has been out of stock for some time.

"The reserve pinot from a new maker and what an impressive debut. It has some leathery and earth aspects to its complex bouquet, shot through with black cherry, vanilla and chocolate. It's very ripe and almost jammy. Good backbone too."
