Traditional techniques along with minimum intervention allows high quality grapes to speak for themselves.

Single Estate, Hand-Crafted Mornington Peninsula Wines

Traditional techniques such as open vat fermentation, extended skin contact during primary fermentation and other traditional wine making techniques are used to allow the character and quality of the grapes to be fully exploited. Silverwood Pinot Noir has the signature characteristics of great pinot noir including depth of flavour, length of palate and silky tannins. These characteristics are an expression of our site
unfolded with great care and traditional winemaking.

We employ a non-interventional approach in order to allow the wine to fully reflect the vineyard site and the season.  We DO NOT use fining agents that may have an allergenic effect such as chemicals, egg whites or fish products. In this way we are allowing the fruit flavours developed in the vineyard to be fully expressed without manipulation or enhancement.
